Day 7 of 25: Applications of the iCORE™ Framework
Identify
There’s a reason the story of Sara Blakely still resonates. It starts with a simple frustration.
Before Spanx, she was trying to solve a personal problem. She wanted something that worked under white pants and couldn’t find it, so she improvised.
Then she asked a better question. If this is a problem for me, how many other people are dealing with the same thing?
That moment reflects the Identify pillar. It comes from noticing the everyday things people work around or accept.
From there, she moved step by step, working with manufacturers and getting in front of buyers by clearly showing how the product worked. It connected because the problem was already real.
Ideas like this often feel small at first. They show up in the things people tolerate.
If you are looking for your next idea, start there.
